Re-orchestration — Version 1

In this orchestration, the quarter note bass notes are orchestrated with the strings and percussion. The half notes of the chords are orchestrated with the woodwinds and brass. The strings create the orchestral pedal by prolonging the bass line, and this pedal is orchestrated in five different octaves (rather than across three octaves like the original piano version). See the table showing instrument family distribution here.
