Musical Figures from Orchestration Treatises

The Timbre and Orchestration Resource is currently making web-based versions of public domain orchestration treatises. Part of this process is extracting each musical figures/examples from the books. In the links below, you will find all of the figures as well as new captions and a summary of what instrumental or orchestration technique is being exemplified. There is a searchable list included as well.
