Room Mics, Ex. D, Four Violinists

TOR / ODESSA Montreal / Subject 1 / Anatomy of a Mix / Room Mics / Example D

Due to the burgeoning number of violin players, there is more direct sound in the room microphones than there has been previously. Despite that, the majority of what's captured is still diffuse sound that has reacted to the various surfaces of the hall. Similar to the previous iteration, the image of the room microphones is relatively balanced but ripples towards the left and the right sides of the image, depending on what parts of the room are being activated.
