How to Cite

Please use the following guidelines when citing publications and resources on this website. Note that most, but not all, publications on the TOR possess DOIs and dates of publication. 

 General template 

  • APA: Lastname, F. M. (Year, Month Day). Title of page. Website Name. URL. DOI 

  • Chicago: Last Name, First Name. "Title of Page." Website Name, Date of Publication [Month Day, Year] [accessed Date of Access (if undated)]. URL. DOI 

Specific publication types 

Writings (Dialogues, Research Project Reports, Articles, Essays, Pedagogical Writings)

Here’s an example: 

  • APA: Adler-McKean, J. (2024, March 20). The History and Future of the Tuba Family: Material-, Resonance-, and Performance-Based Perspectives. Videos (Research Presentations and ACTOR EduFilms): please cite these according to the source URL where they are hosted (i.e., YouTube), and not the URL where they are embedded on the TOR.
